Coaching Staff
MICHELLE GALLIE
Michelle is excited to return to the Oakville
Edge for her third season.
She is a level two Skate Canada Certified coach with over 10
years of coaching experience.
She is proud to be a quadruple gold skater, obtaining gold
level qualification in dance/pairs, figures, skills and artistic.
In addition she has competed at all levels of Synchronized
skating for over 15 years with the Burlington Skating Center.
Her synchronized skating experience has earned her various
medal titles at the provincial, national and world levels.
When she is not at the rink, Michelle works as a product
manager for TD Canada Trust. She has a great passion for the teams
she coaches and the sport of synchronized skating and looks forward
to another great season with the Oakville Edge Teams.
JAYDA EVERETT-MALCOLM
Jayda is entering her eighth season
of coaching with Oakville Edge. She is thrilled to be part of such a
competent and dedicated coaching team. Her ten years of coaching
experience includes 21 teams ranging from Intro Purple to the Junior
level, highlighted by silver and bronze finishes at the provincial
level. She has also been a professional Canskate and Starskate
coach with Oakville Skating Club. Jayda's own skating background
includes 10 years of competitive synchronized skating from Juvenile
to Senior, including 5 years as a National Team Member. Along with
developing a passion for the sport, she earned several national and
international medals as a competitor. Jayda has taught JK-Grade 3
with the Halton District School Board, and loves working with
children as they strive to achieve their goals. She is currently
working locally as a Realtor with Sutton Quantum. She is extremely
proud to have been part of the Oakville Edge since it's inception,
and looks forward to another memorable season with "the girls".
LISA MAZZOCATO
Lisa returns for her fifth season with Oakville Synchro. Lisa is a Silver Level Coach in the Continuous Education
Program and is a Level II certified coach. Her skating and synchro
background is extensive: A
Competitive Synchro skater for 15
years from Novice to Senior with both Oakville Ice Expression and
Burlington Ice Image;
National Team Member
for 4 years (several national and international medals); Oakville
Skating Club Member for 23 years; Oakville Skating Club Coach for 8
years. This season, Lisa has returned to school to become a Dental
Hygienist. She has a passion for synchronized skating, and looks
forward to another great season with the Oakville Edge Teams.
PAULINE CABALLERO
Pauline is excited to be returning to the Oakville Edge this year
for her second season. She has both competitive synchronized skating experience of
over 10 years as well as 5 years as a festival synchronized skating
coach. Beside from her passion for synchronized skating, Pauline is
also extremely active in the health industry and is both a certified
registered holistic nutritionist and certified personal trainer.
Pauline is looking forward to a great season with all of the
Oakville Edge Teams.
