2009-10 Elementary Team
2010-11 Program Details
The Elementary Team is a fun-filled team
experience for skaters under the age of 13. These skaters have
completed the Intro-to-Synchro and Beginner levels, or are on the
StarSkate II/III session. The Elementary experience compliments
individual skating sessions, which are required. This category
provides an opportunity to develop the speed and quality of basic
synchro elements, and to learn new turns and holds, while
emphasizing posture and artistic performance.
This team practices twice each week from
September to March, incorporating on and off ice training, as well
as yoga classes. Each practice incorporates individual and
team skill development. This year, the girls will compete in four
local competitions and will enjoy various social events as a team.
Working together to achieve our
goals while having fun on and off the ice make this a fabulous
bonding experience for all team members and their families.
